Bezoekers CWF2019 aan de slag met Lego Serious Play

Tijdens het Creativity World Forum 2019 dat op 21, 22 en 23 oktober in Brabant werd gehouden, presenteerde een aantal wet-houders challenges voor de bezoekers van het CWF. De challenge van gemeente Dongen was onderdeel van het hub-programma in Breda.

De vraag van wet-houders Veerle Ultee en Donald Meulensteen van gemeente Dongen luidde: Hoe benut je het creatief potentieel in je organisatie als steeds meer mensen een hoge werkdruk ervaren?

Samen met de CWF-bezoekers gingen zij aan de slag met Lego Serious Play.

We are very proud to be involved in the international Creativity World Forum ‘Change the Inevitable’ during the Dutch Design Week. We had the chance to facilitate a workshop with the theme: Creativity vs Workload. At the inspirational Electron site @Breda, a diverse international group of creative thinkers explored our question: “How to foster the creative potential of the organization when colleagues experience a high workload?” Using Lego Serious Play, we built answers to this question. With great results: creating mental and physical playgrounds, a job rotator and ways to allocate time to address the most complex challenges in our work, to name a few. In Dongen we will now incorporate this input into our way of working with self-organizing teams to unleash more creative potential within our municipality. We would like to thank all the participants for their enthusiasm and for sharing their valuable insights! And above all: learning together.
